In partnership with Pearson, Team UK will compete at the 47th WorldSkills Competition, known as the ‘skills Olympics,’ this September where 1500 young people from 65+ countries compete in 62 technical disciplines, attracting 250 000 spectators.

The WorldSkills UK Learning Lab is powered by international best practice. This virtual learning centre provides on-demand teaching and assessment resources, and on-demand teacher training tools to embed world-class skills in technical education and apprenticeships.
WorldSkills is the global hub for skills excellence and development and we use the knowledge gained from our participation and engagement to drive the greatest skills education from across the world into UK practice.

Our Competition Development Programme helps students and apprentices benchmark and develop their skills by completing online assessments based on our national competitions.
