The Coaching Learners for High Performance sessions are designed to help support educators to develop their understanding of the psychological considerations and strategies that underpin effective coaching of learners. The sessions contain practical advice on developing motivation and facilitating a process goal setting approach. Sources of self-efficacy and confidence and strategies for their development are examined alongside a particular focus on the projection of confidence through nonverbal communication.
Reappraising stress and strategies for revealing and encouraging resilience are also valuable ways of encouraging learners to become more overtly aware of their own mindset development and the value of the psychological characteristics for developing excellence.
To complete this module and achieve a digital credential you will be required to attend all four sessions in full, they can be attended in any order.
