This technical masterclass will help you develop your skills in setting out joinery techniques, which is the first key part to the work of the joiner. To support this process, planning is key and must be very well prepared for.
You will start by learning about the seven steps to developing excellence in your occupation, as well as how the principles of lean can be employed in the construction sector.
Once you have completed these stages, watch a video demonstration which will help you to understand a working drawing and produce a rod board. The masterclass then guides you to perform the tasks shown in the video and offers a set of downloadable resources to assist you in your practice.
Suitable for Level three (Level six in Scotland) learners, this masterclass takes around two hours to complete. You are required to successfully answer a series of multiple choice questions at the end of your learning before being awarded a downloadable WorldSkills UK certificate.
