Apprentices and learners across the UK are being called to step into the spotlight as entries officially open for the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Competitions.
Designed in partnership with industry, the WorldSkills UK competitions give apprentices and learners the practical experience and work-ready skills they need to thrive in their careers.
Those who take part develop stronger technical skills, increased confidence, and improved problem-solving and teamwork capabilities. In fact, 91% of previous entrants say they were able to apply what they learned directly to their training and workplace.
Ben Blackledge, Chief Executive, WorldSkills UK said:
“Registering apprentices and learners for the WorldSkills UK Competitions is an exciting opportunity to push their skills to the next level.
“Apprentices and learners return more inspired, more capable, and ready to add even greater value in the workplace and in their training.”
