About EuroSkills Herning 2025

Denmark will host Europe’s largest skills competition when EuroSkills is held for the ninth time in September 2025. EuroSkills Herning 2025 will bring together hundreds of talented young skill athletes from 33 European countries. They are among the best in Europe and will compete for medals in 38 different skills.

The event spans five days at Scandinavia’s largest convention center, MCH Messecenter Herning. It all begins with an opening ceremony, followed by three days of competitions. The event ends with a closing ceremony where medals will be presented and awards distributed.

Important Dates:

  • Tuesday 9th September 2025: Opening Ceremony
  • Wednesday 10th – Friday 12th September 2025: Competition Days
  • Saturday 13th September 2025: Closing Ceremony

Meet Team UK

Selected and trained in skills excellence by WorldSkills UK, in partnership with Pearson, the world’s lifelong learning company, the team will compete in 17 skills across 19 competitions in Herning in September.

Supporting the Government’s drive to position the UK as an epicentre of excellence in engineering and manufacturing, Team UK will also compete in Mechatronics, Industry 4.0, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering CAD, CNC Milling, Web Technologies, Graphic Design and Welding.

Resources and information

As many as 100,000 visitors are expected at EuroSkills Herning 2025 and tens of thousands of students visiting the event are encouraged to learn more about the various vocational educations and the career opportunities that await beyond vocational training.
