“Skills are the lifeblood of UK business – and this partnership will play an important role helping to nurture the very best talented young people to represent the UK in WorldSkills, the “Skills Olympics” – and make them iconic for others to follow in their footsteps.”

Mr Vladimir Hoyos, Managing Director of RUBI UK LTD said:

“Promoting tiling skills in talented young trades people is one of our main goals in the UK and Ireland; this partnership will allow them to benefit from using the latest tiling tools and equipment supplied by Rubi – the market leader in tiling tools.

Importantly this will give them extra confidence when they eventually go to represent the UK in all the competitions and ultimately into the work place.”

Mark and Daniel are being trained for the WorldSkills Competition by Paul Doran, a lecturer at Southern Regional College, Northern Ireland.  As part of the training programme, Mark Scott will represented the UK at EuroSkills Budapest 2018 this September.
