In the same way that learners go through a lengthy process to develop excellence, you will also need to go through a period where unfamiliar skills feel uncomfortable and it requires practice before feelings of discomfort reduce and automaticity appears. This process of development is necessary before you feel able to get creative using the psychological characteristics of developing excellence skills in your teaching.

As the teaching environment can be quite unforgiving, gaining familiarity with these teaching tools in a constructive supported environment can speed the process. In this module, online scenarios are provided for both the PCDEs and the teaching methods introduced in previous modules to allow practice in a safe environment. Throughout each scenario, constructive feedback will be given for your choices with discussion points and suggestions for further learning provided.
