The Endorsed Trainer Programme is open to teaching and learning staff who have either remission or the capacity within their current role to drive and embed the WorldSkills UK pedagogical methodologies from within. This in turn, will raise standards of assessment and the competition culture in the organisation through the ability to tailor CPD to their specific requirements creating an even greater impact and influence change.
The Endorsed Trainer Programme currently includes three of the educator focused CPD modules, both equally important to the overall skills development of learners and apprentices:
The programme is an opportunity for successful applicants to build on their existing high standards of teaching and training expertise to drive quality improvement by contributing towards an educator’s continuous professional development in UK FE Education and skills sector.
Applicants are chosen by the Centre Lead and apply individually with the support of a senior leader within their organisation. The organisation must be registered with the WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence.
Upon selection, each Endorsed Trainer will undertake a robust training process to gain a comprehensive understanding of the delivery formats of the specialist programme as well as creating a tailored Monthly Activity Plan. Following this event, all Endorsed Trainers will receive ongoing support and invites to best practice events facilitated by WorldSkills UK Coaches to aid in delivery of each World Class Teacher Training module.
