Overview

WorldSkills UK IT Software Solutions for Business competitions focus on all the essential requirements for a successful career as a Microsoft Applications Specialist, working in the IT department of any organisation.

The Foundation Skills competitions have been created to showcase the skills of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), additional learning needs (ALN), or who require additional support for learning (ASL), who are currently undertaking a course with an FE or training provider at Entry level or level 1.

These competitions provide opportunities for students and learners to develop their vocational skills, wider skills for work, personal, social and independence skills.

The competition is an opportunity for young people who may be aspiring to work in the IT industry, or in any job where it’s important to have good IT skills and knowledge, to showcase their talent and demonstrate their journey towards work-readiness.
