We are looking for highly motivated individuals that can help us accelerate the development of young people’s skills from national to world-class standards.
As part of the WorldSkills UK Training Team you will play an important role in developing the UK’s top apprentices and students as they prepare to compete at WorldSkills Shanghai 2021, known as the ‘skills Olympics’. Success at this global event will secure the UK’s position as a world leader in skills development.
The WorldSkills UK training programme focuses on teaching young people high level technical skills, resilience and mindset training; all attributes that will help them secure rewarding careers. Successful candidates should demonstrate relevant and current industry knowledge and experience in technical and vocational education. As part of the WorldSkills UK Training Team you will receive leading edge professional development, supported by an international network of experts, enabling you to enhance your own qualifications and career opportunities.

*These are the skills that WSUK are currently scoping and there is no commitment for a UK entry in this skill in WorldSkills Shanghai 2021.
If you would like to join our community of Training Managers, submit your CV and a short video of no more than four minutes (can be a rough edit on a mobile device), or a written personal statement, to explain your interest in the role, confirm you have support from your employer, and how you feel your skills and experience meet the requirements of the role to: firstname.lastname@example.org by 18 September 2019 stating which skill and role you are applying for.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview and assessment day where you will have an opportunity to hear more about the role and meet the WorldSkills UK Team, on 27 September 2019.
Successful applicants will be asked to attend a programme induction and training event on Thursday 24 October - Saturday 26 October 2019 at Loughborough University.
