The Inclusivity in Excellence award is open to educators (including colleges, employers and independent training providers). Nominees will have delivered organisational activities that facilitated entries into WorldSkills UK competitions from underrepresented groups, embedding skills competition programmes in their curriculum and training programmes.
The winner was revealed at the virtual awards ceremony on 24 February.
“We are proud to support the EDI Awards as like WorldSkills UK we believe that everyone should have the chance to succeed in education, work and life. We strive to be a company where everyone is respected and all voices are heard and valued, these awards provide a platform for us to recognise and celebrate diversity and inclusion achievements. A diverse and inclusive workforce allows everyone to be their authentic self, belong, connect, realise individual potential, and thrive as part of a team. We recognise this focus is critical to solve the complicated, fast-moving challenges of the digital age.”
