WorldSkills UK extends its deepest condolences following the passing of Simon Bartley, former CEO of UK Skills (WorldSkills UK) and former President of WorldSkills.
Marion Plant, OBE, FCGI, Chair of the Board of Trustees at WorldSkills UK, said:
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Simon Bartley, former CEO of UK Skills (WorldSkills UK) and former President of WorldSkills. Simon played a pivotal role in helping to bring the WorldSkills Competition to London in 2011, and I was proud to work alongside him on that landmark event. We will remember Simon’s passion, unwavering commitment to skills, and infectious enthusiasm, which inspired so many across the UK and around the world. His dedication to creating opportunities for young people and championing excellence in skills leaves a lasting legacy. He will be greatly missed.”
