We are pleased to announce that over 400 talented apprentices and students have advanced to our National Finals.
Competitors have participated in regional competitions at their local colleges, training provider centres, workplaces, or online. They will now compete alongside the best learners and apprentices from across the UK in the National Finals, taking place for the first time across venues in South Wales from 25–28 November.
WorldSkills UK Competitions promote excellence in over 40 skill areas, supporting young people in developing the high-quality technical skills they need to thrive in their careers, while helping employers grow through access to world-class talent.
To support all national finalists in preparing for the next stage, WorldSkills UK is providing targeted benchmarking resources and training opportunities through its dedicated online learning platform, The Learning Lab.
Ben Blackledge, CEO, WorldSkills UK said: Congratulations to this year’s WorldSkills UK National Finalists. Our competitions test learners’ skills against global industry standards, providing a powerful platform to showcase their talents. Over two intensive days of competition they will gain valuable skills and confidence which will turbo charge their careers and make the UK economy more competitive.
“With employers all over the UK crying out for high-quality skills this is a fantastic opportunity for hundreds of learners to show they are ready for work. I can’t wait to see the finalists in action.”

The finalists and medallists will be honoured at ICC Wales on Friday, 28 November from 19:00.
The Foundation Skill competitions and the accompanying medal ceremony will take place on Friday, 28 November at Cardiff & Vale College, City Centre Campus.
