Today is the first day of our two-day online CPD programme, ‘Developing excellence in teaching and training’ created in partnership with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF). We’re pleased to share that we have so many delegates registered to attend this high-quality, free-to-access event designed to help TVET educators advance their teaching skills and introduce innovative ways to develop excellence in training students and apprentices.
The focus of the event is on four streams: WorldSkills UK Way; Education 4.0; live technical masterclasses and expert guidance on equity, diversity and inclusion. Workshops and insights will be fuelled by both expertise from our global network and our experience of developing world-class, high-quality skills training and development based on over 65 years of constant evolution.
Interactive and packed with the latest insights delegates can select from 30 sessions plus on-demand content designed to have practical outcomes with expert panellists drawn from the FE sector, business, government and the WorldSkills global network.
Half-day live technical masterclasses feature:
- Automotive body repair; automotive technology; automotive refinishing
- Digital construction and manufacturing; digital construction; cyber security; IT networking
- Industrial automation; industrial electronics; CNC milling and turning.
To help delegates engage with their peers we’re introducing a networking element each day to enable connections to be made through messages and video calls. Our live networking lounges are where attendees can join others in communal areas and connect with our partners: ETF; NCFE; Autodesk; Electude; Jisc and Paloalto.
We’re thrilled that this brand new CPD programme developed with ETF has had such a great response from TVET educators and will deliver what they tell us they need.
There’s still time to register to take part, to benefit from this comprehensive offering. You can also receive formal recognition of CPD through our digital credential, recognising your contribution to improving standards in technical education for learners. To qualify, simply attend a minimum of 90 minutes CPD across the event.
