WorldSkills UK Centre of Excellence in partnership with NCFE, and in collaboration with MTC- Manufacturing Training Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Catapult, leading UK workforce development organisation, and innovation hub, are pleased to invite you to join us for our Technical Leadership Professional Exchange on the 11 December, at MTC in Coventry. On offer is an exciting programme of CPD, designed to bring education and industry closer together, to inspire and provoke thought leadership, and share insights and effective practice, as we focus together on raising standards, championing future skills, and empowering young people and businesses to succeed.
The UK Government has set out comprehensive plans to grow the UK economy, with skills rightly recognised as a critical element for boosting productivity and improving living standards. Alongside our partners in education and industry, our aim at WorldSkills UK, is to deliver at scale, directly into places of learning and work, the world-class technical skills demonstrated by our Team UK ‘Skills Olympians’ at the biennial WorldSkills international competition, the ‘Skills Olympics’, hosted in Lyon, France in September 2024.
The professional exchange will serve to bring industry and education technical experts together to discuss and explore opportunities, challenges, and solutions to problems, because of technological advancements, and the constantly evolving skills and education and training landscape. We will explore learning from industry and education in terms of effectively harnessing technology to find solutions to everyday challenges, while improving life chances, meeting the needs of individuals, and supporting businesses and communities to thrive.
