Overview

The competition has been designed to focus on all the essential skills needed for a successful career within the Digital Media industries. Competitors undertake varying creative roles associated with producing a media production and are required to work towards industry standards. The competition allows for teams to progress through the three main aspects of the production cycle, Pre-production, production and post-production in order to successfully produce a finished artifact which meets all aspects of the original brief.

Entry criteria

  • Competitors must be familiar with core competencies and must have been studying for a Level 3 or equivalent during the academic year of registration.
  • This is a team competition ( teams of 4)

How it works

Registrations are now open and close midnight 28th March 2024.

This is the first stage of the competition, usually an online activity/test. Sent out when a competitor registers you will have until the 19th of April to complete the task.

 

Live Qualifier, taking place from the 20th May 2024 to the end of June in a Midlands location.

 

To help finalists prepare ahead of the UK Final, we will provide relevant technical training and share mindset development techniques, to support them to remain focused on achieving success.

National finals will take place between the 18th-22nd November 2024 in Manchester (venues TBC)
