These brand-new sessions focus on Engineering and manufacturing; creative and design; legal finance and accounting, and digital. Each episode features insights from industry experts alongside new recruits who can share their first-hand experience.
Each session outlines routes into industry and includes an interactive challenge designed to fit within the curriculum, focusing on STEM careers.

In this episode we zoom in on marine and aerospace engineering technicians. We hear from L3-L6 Apprentices at BAE Systems on what their roles involve, why they choose to work in this industry and how they landed their apprenticeships. BAE Systems experts also show the different pathways available into the industry.

Explore editing, producing, designing and storyboarding as we unpack creative and design careers with the British Film Institute (BFI). You’ll hear from role models and take part in a short storyboarding task, the first step towards creating a film. We hear from Tim Weiss at Screen Skills the film recruitment specialist about the variety of pathways into a creative and design career including technical education such as T Levels and apprenticeships, as well as why a creative and design career is action-packed.
Legal Finance and Accounting: Go beyond the numbers, 31 January 10am
This episode busts myths around the misconception that a legal finance and accounting career is only about maths. We demonstrate the breadth of legal finance and accounting careers with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), hearing from role models about what their jobs involve, as well a task to help learners use story-telling and critical thinking skills and understand that there’s much more to accounting than simply numbers.
