Each session is divided into four short segments covering an industry overview with experts outline key skills and myth busting, hearing from apprentice role models about their roles and inspiration, a short industry task that links careers to the curriculum and STEM where possible, wrapping up with the technical pathways in to the industry.

Engineering and manufacturing: Flying high and diving deep 24 January 2023 10am

In this episode we zoom in on marine and aerospace engineering technicians. We hear from L3-L6 Apprentices at BAE Systems on what their roles involve, why they choose to work in this industry and how they landed their apprenticeships. BAE Systems experts also show the different pathways available into the industry.

Creative and Design: Creating and designing your career, 26 January 2023 10am

Explore editing, producing, designing and storyboarding as we unpack creative and design careers with the British Film Institute (BFI). You’ll hear from role models and take part in a short storyboarding task, the first step towards creating a film.
