Who is this competition for?
There are two beauty therapy competitions for individuals to enter:

Those who can enter should be over the age of 16 and currently training to be beauty therapists.
What does the competition prepare you for?
The competitions support the training and preparation for the role of a beauty therapy practitioner. Normally beauty therapy training takes place through a one-year or two-year full-time course at a college, or a private beauty school where the training may be shorter and more intense. Once qualified, opportunities exist in high street salons and beauty clinics, hospitals, health spas, hotels and health farms. Beauty therapists can also become self-employed, either working from home or travelling to clients' homes, or by owning their own salon.
