About the competition - Uniformed Services

This physically demanding competition is ideally suited to those preparing to enter one of the uniformed services. Competition activities will vary according to heats and the availability of local public services. The competition will test competitors’ skills in important aspects of the job role.

Who can enter?

This competition is intended for those undertaking a relevant programme of study at level 3 (BTEC ND, S/NVQ, AS/A2 public services).

How many can enter?

The competition is for teams of eight. Entry is limited to one team per organisation.

Problem solving

Competition structure

Stage one: enter online between 7 January – 9 April 2009.

Stage two: competitors will be invited to participate in a live heat.

Stage three: highest scoring competitors across all heats that meet the required standard will be invited to compete at the UK final.
