About the competition - Holistic Therapy - Reflexology - Closed

The competition focuses on the role and tasks of a reflexologist. This consists of client consultations to elicit information about clients’ health, lifestyle issues and medical history in order to identify appropriate and effective treatments.

Competitors are also expected to demonstrate their understanding of pressure techniques using the thumbs and fingers on the reflex areas of the hands and feet.

Entry Levels: Advanced

Entry Deadline: 19 March 2010

Entry Type: Individual competitors

Competition Type: Live

Competition structure

Stage one: enter online by 19 March 2010.

Stage two: competitors will be invited to compete in a heat.

Stage three: highest scoring competitors across all heats who meet the required standard will be invited to compete at the UK final.

How many can enter?

One competitor per campus.

Who can enter?

The competition is intended for those training or working as reflexologists. Competitors can be in education and training or working in industry.

Advanced: Those undertaking qualifications up to level 3 (for England, Northern Ireland and Wales), up to level 6 (for Scotland) or up to four years experience in a working environment.

There is a City & Guilds qualification available for this competition.
