About the competition - Holistic Therapy - Aromatherapy - Closed

The competition focuses on the role and tasks of an aromatherapist. This consists of client consultations to elicit information about clients’ health and medical history, followed by exploration of clients’ lifestyle in order to identify appropriate and effective treatments.

Competitors are then expected to demonstrate their therapeutic skills in selecting oils and carrying out a full aromatherapy massage.

Entry Deadline: 19 March 2010

Entry Type: Individual competitors

Competition Type: Live

Competition structure

Stage one: enter online by 19 March 2010.

Stage two: competitors will be invited to compete in a heat.

Stage three: highest scoring competitors across all heats who meet the required standard will be invited to compete at the UK final.

How many can enter?

One competitor per campus.

Who can enter?

The competition is intended for those training or working as aromatherapists. Competitors can be in education and training or working in industry.

Advanced: Those undertaking qualifications up to level 3 (for England, Northern Ireland and Wales), up to level 6 (for Scotland) or up to four years experience in a working environment.
