Who can enter?

This competition is for young people and adults of 14 years and over who are developing their key skills as part of their continuing education and training. Competitors do not have to be studying for key skills qualifications; however, they should have an understanding of the role and significance of key skills. The competition is for teams of up to 3 people.

Assessment criteria

The competition is in two stages:

Stage 1: teams of competitors submit a representation of an interactive piece of key skills learning and achievement, as set out in the competition brief. This is assessed by expert judges.
Stage 2: the teams with highly scoring submissions are invited to compete in a live presentation of their entry.

Each team’s presentation will be judged for its scope and quality in demonstrating the development of their key skills, irrespective of the levels at which they are achieving them.

You will experience:
•    Five days of intensive training with expert business plan trainers.
•    Five months of action learning exercises to help you create a robust business plan.
Four one to one coaching sessions to support your learning journey.
