Who is this competition for?
This competition is at advanced/higher level. Competitors must be over 16 years of age and be preparing for one or more of the following roles that make up the team:

Cisco specialist
CCNA or equivalent knowledge/experience
IPT knowledge

Microsoft specialist
MCSA or equivalent knowledge/experience -
Open Source specialist
Linux + or equivalent knowledge/experience
IPT knowledge -
Office manager
MOS and Project + or equivalent knowledge/experience
What does the competition prepare you for?
The competition supports your training and preparation for your future career in IT. It will help develop your communication skills, look great on your CV, and increase your employability.
What does the competition cover?
This new competition is based around an international record label where competitors will use
their trouble shooting skills and work as a high performing team to compete against the best.
This live competition is an ideal opportunity for those training for ICT related work roles
to test themselves in a simulated work environment. Teams of four competitors (based on the job
roles stated below) will be assessed on their technical skills as well as wider skills including
team work and communication.
What happens if I win?
UK winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.
Subject to eligibility, outstanding national winners may be invited to compete for a place in
a future UK WorldSkills and/or EuroSkills team.

This competition is organised by Barnfield College with the support of Cisco Systems Ltd and
Microsoft Ltd.
Competitors must enter by 21 December 2007. The UK shortlisting competition
will be held at Barnfield College on 22nd and 23rd of January 2008.
