Who is this competition for?

Anyone trained to an Advanced level, whether though employment or study that is able to use the complex facilities available in Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of simple graphic design using Photoshop or CorelDraw.

This is an Advanced Level competition that tests your skills in all of these areas and gives you the opportunity to gain recognition for your skills.

What does the competition prepare you for?

This competition allows you to demonstrate and display your skills in various office software packages. These skills are applicable in a huge variety of job roles.

What does the competition cover?

There are two stages to this competition

Stage 1: Competitors will register and complete an online competition by the 1st May 2008
Stage 2: The ten highest scoring competitors will be invited to a 1 day live final competition at a training centre within the UK.

Finalists will be notified by the 31st May 2008. UK Skills will cover competitor travel expenses for the live final

Top performers may be selected to be put forward for WorldSkills Calgary 2009

What happens if I win?

UK Gold winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.

If eligible, outstanding national winners may be invited to compete for a place in the Uk’s team for a WorldSkills Competition.
