Who is this competition for?

This competition is open to anyone preparing to be an ICT Technician by training, work experience and/or employment. The competition is for individuals.

What does the competition prepare you for?

This competition places you within the role of an ICT technician.  This includes the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer hardware.

What does the competition cover?

This competition is in either one or two stages:
Stage 1: an ‘in house’ competition can be held within the training organisation/institution to select a finalist to compete at the UK final.
Stage 2: Finalists and other individual competitors compete at the live final

What happens if I win?

UK Gold winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.

If eligible, outstanding national winners will be invited to compete for a place in the UK’s team a EuroSkills or the WorldSkills Competition.
