Who is this competition for?

Competitors should be over the age of 16 and training to be accounting technicians.

  • Advanced (equivalent to Level 3 and/or around 2 years experience/training)

What does the competition prepare you for?

The competition supports your training and preparation for the role of an accounting technician.

What does the competition cover?

This live competition tests competitors’ skills in tasks drawn from the accounting technician’s role. These tasks may include:

  • Financial accounting
  • Preparing ledger balances
  • Preparing reports and returns
  • Working effectively as a team

For this competition there will be regional and national heats. The number of regional heats will be determined by the number of competitors entering.

What happens if I win?

After the regional heats the highest scoring teams across the UK will be invited to the UK Final. UK gold winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.
