Who is this competition for?
The competion:
- ICT Networking Challenge (Software)
The ICT Networking (Software) competition is open to young people studying Microsoft Operating Systems, such as Microsoft XP Processional and Windows 2003 Server.
What does the competition prepare you for?
The competition places you within the role of the ICT network technician by testing performance across a wide range of skills used within that work role.
What does the competition cover?
This competition is in one or two stages:
Stage 1: where an organisation has several potential competitors, an ‘in house’
competition can be held within the training organisation/institution to select a finalist to
compete at the UK live final competition.
Stage 2: UK finalists and individual competitors compete at the UK live final
competition.
What happens if I win?
UK Gold winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.
If eligible, outstanding national winners may be invited to compete to for a place in the UK’s
team for a WorldSkills Competition.
