Who can enter?

This competition is for anyone over the age of 16 who is actively learning to be a glassmaker. The competition provides excellent support to level 2 and level 3 programmes in glass for glassmakers with up to 7 years experience in the industry.

Assessment criteria

This is a two day live competition where competitors will complete a task which will involve: 

The interpretation of a written practical brief - cutting glass to a construction cartoon - leading, soldering and finishing of a stained glass window to industry standards.

What happens if I win?

The best entries will have their work exhibited at the Cultural and Creative Arts Exhibition in June 2008. UK Gold winners will be invited to a high profile national awards event.
