About the competition - Roof Slating and Tiling - Closed
Competitors will undertake a series of practical tests based on the workplace which will demonstrate their abilities and highlight their outstanding skills in the roof slating and tiling industry.

Stage one: enter online at
www.cskills.org/skillbuild Closing date 19th March
2010.
Stage two: highest scoring competitors across all heats that meet the required standard will
be invited to compete at the SkillBuild 2010 UK final over a three day national event in September
2010.
In the spirit of SkillBuild, the national final is an opportunity for all involved to
celebrate excellence in construction training.
How many can enter?
There are no restrictions on the number of competitors that can be entered.

Who can enter?
This competition is intended for those working or training in the construction industry. Each
competition can be entered by apprentices and those on full-time courses that lead to technical
certificates.
Intermediate: Those undertaking qualifications up to level 2 (for England, Northern Ireland
and Wales), up to level 5 (for Scotland) or up to three years experience in a working environment.
Advanced: Those undertaking qualifications up to level 3 (for England, Northern Ireland and
Wales), up to level 6 (for Scotland) or up to five years experience in a working environment.
