About the competition - Environmental Sciences
The competition is intended to raise skills and awareness in the science and engineering
disciplines required to solve complex socio-economic issues. This includes climate change and the
shortage of essential resources including water and energy.
Competitors will be expected to analyse scientific information and data and to provide a
report and presentation. There will also be a simple construction project to build a smallscale
energy scheme, such as a wind turbine or solar oven from clear instructions.
Dates and venues of competition heats are not yet available; if you have registered already, you will be notified when you are able to choose which heat you would like to attend, if your competition is to have heats.
